We’ve reached the land that Columbus discovered, our mission is to find a route to the Pacific and gain resources along the way. We’re currently traveling along the James river in search of the Pacific, I believe it’s June now because of the scorching heat my other shipmates can’t stand being outside for too long. Captain Christopher Newport has led us since our departure from, because of his familiarity of the area, along with Captain John Smith, this’ll be my first voyage out to the colonies so I hope it’s a successful one. It hasn’t been long since he’s been kidnapped, probably a month or so, I expected to see him severely scared if he were left alive at the very least. But he’s here in one piece telling us what he’s learned about the Natives during his time with them. He claimed that they tried to kill him, but a tribesman by the name of Pocahontas intervened.
