In the scholarly article Globalization and Christopher Columbus in the Americas written by Elise Bartosik-Vélez discuss two main themes of the Columbus’s globalization of early modern European colonialism and the people of Spanish decent in Latin America. Bartosik-Vélez states that Columbus was part of the globalization process formed by European colonialism.
