Having little friends makes you feel out of place, but how would it feel having little friends and having a form of autism on top of that? Christopher from The Curious Incident since he has aspergers. His thinking, the affects he has on other people, honesty to other people, and actions are way different from a normal person. Despite this i think that he is a authentic character.

For example if they ask him where he has been he just says i have been outside. An example of him telling the truth was he told the police officer that his dad killed wellington knowing that his dad might go to jail. He also tells siobhan that his dad hit him yesterday night his dad could have gotten in trouble with the police for hitting christopher.

Many people are scared of people who have mental disabilities they think that they are very violent and troublesome. I dont think thats the case. Chris kind of goes with it because he hit the police officer. Now many people are going to say that that proves that they are violent. Well yes but no you see you are not looking outside the box. You don't know why he did this? now do you? He says that he dislikes people touching him. He even makes groaning sound meaning that he doesn't like the situation he is in. He really cares for them an example is when Toby his pet rat got lost at the train station he looked for him. When he does find him in the train tracks he goes and gets him. He almost got killed but he held on to toby tightly hoping he wouldn't get hurt. Another example would be when he starts investigating a case to find who killed Wellington.
