ntroduction There has been few inventions that have been as useful but underappreciated as the typewriter. The typewriters has a brief history that seen very little large events. However, it did affect how written documents were produced forever and how some jobs operated. The typewriter would continue to evolve and eventually give way to new technologies. The typewriter was a machine used from writers to politicians and by men and women alike. It revolutnisced how people created written documents.

Sholes, born February 14, 1819, was American mechanical engineer. The typewriter was created for the purpose of efficiently and speedly producing documents. Sholes later sold his rights to the typewriter to James Densmore. Densmore. Densmore then went to the Philio Remington and convinced them to market the device.
