In the article “Die Trying”, Katie J.M. Baker points out the difficulties of being a rape victim in Alabama and nationwide. The article “Die Trying” talks about a student named Megan Rondini who attended the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa who accused T.J. Bunn Jr. of rape. The events that led to sexual assault happened in July 1, 2015 at night where Megan Rondini went to Innisfree Irish Pub with a couple of her sorority sisters and drank five cups of beer. After drinking the beer Megan Rondini blacked out and found herself in T.J. Bunn’s car with his friend going back to his house.
On Sunday, March 13, 2013, at approximately 1926 hours, I responded to Conyers Police Department, 1194 Scott Street, for a previous Rape incident. I arrived on scene and met with complainant, Victoria Imafidon. Imafidon advised me she was taken advantage of sexually by her pastor at the New Trinity Assemblies. Imafidon stated his name is Emanuel Ayoola Olufowote or Ayoola Michel Kofi Olufowote. Imafidon stated she was sexually in February by Olufowote.

When he was brought into the station, police questioned him and after two hours with no lawyer present, Miranda confessed to the crimes. When it came to going to trial, Miranda was appointed a defense attorney- because it was mandated that all defendants have representation paid for by the government. In the end, Miranda’s defense attorney was ineffective in trying to prove Miranda to be “mentally defective or insane”, resulting in Miranda being convicted.

For instance, the liberal article argues, “ Yes there is a lack of evidence, however, that doesn’t mean there isn’t any evidence. Dozens of women can testify. (Huffington Post 1). This statement details, that despite a lack of evidence, there is no reason that the incident never occurred because plenty of women filed lawsuits against Cosby.
Critically Looking at Art: Audrey Flack - Marilyn (Vanitas) My immediate response to Audrey Flack’s Marilyn (Vanitas) is awe and curiosity. It is a beautiful work of art with vibrant colors and interesting still life items. The painting is realistic but also has a surreal quality.
In 1973, the Soviet Union released the film Ivan Vasilievich Changes Profession, directed by Leonid Gaidai. The film's plot revolves around an engineer named Shurik who accidentally creates a time machine that sends Ivan Vasiliaevich (also known as Ivan IV also known as Ivan the Terrible) to modern-day Moscow while sending a building superintendent of the same name and a petty thief named George Miloslavsky back to 16th-century Russia, where to survive they have to impersonate Tsar Ivan IV and his personal jester, respectfully. This comedy-sci-fi movie is a satirical take on the Soviet system and its bureaucracy during the Khrushchev era, highlighting how, in everyday life, the incompetence and unnecessary aggression of leaders affects societal norms. Beyond being a humorous commentary on Soviet society, Ivan Vasilievich Changes Profession is also an insightful political commentary on the Khrushchev era.
The Swedish King Gustav I Vasa was born around May 12, 1496 or 1497 in the Swedish province of Uppsala. His original name was Gustavus Eriksson Vasa. The Vasa family was a noble family in Sweden already at the time of his birth; Gustav's father was a senator in the Swedish politics and a member of the Aristocratic faction. Gustavs' family also had marriage ties with King Sten Sture, the king of Sweden at the time. At the age of 13, Gustav began studying the languages of German and Latin.
Analysis of “Vanitas” by Juan de Valdés Leal The sixteenth century brought about many great artists, who painted in the popular style of the time Baroque. The artist and one of his paintings we will be looking at is ‘Vanitas’ by Juan de Valdés Leal (1660). The work currently resides in the Wadsworth Atheneum in Hartford, Connecticut.

Later the juror was ratted out by his fellow juror, his response, “nine times out of 10 Mexican men were guilty of being aggressive toward women and young girls” in his experience, the jurors said, adding that H.C. called the defendant “an illegal.”
