Churchill’s First World War is definitely an entertaining documentary. As a hobby I have always read and researched a lot about World War 2 and I took this opportunity to look into a central figure I do not know much about. I knew of Churchill’s prowess as a leader during the 2nd World War but not what made him into the person he was. This documentary mainly covers his exploits during the first World War from 1914 to 1918. During this time Churchill had a few blunders and complete failures that forged him into the man he was to become. His self-motivation, self-determinism and support his wife Clementine Churchill definitely played a large part into his success in life and ability to lead. The documentary uses the letters between his Winston and Clementine as the main source of information as to his moods and inner thoughts throughout the film. …show more content…
