There are different versions of Cinderella in each country. Just as each country has its own cultural value, this feature allows each country to produce a different version of Cinderella story. Cultural values are the core principles and ideals upon which the entire community exists. It may be varying via the author's belief, community, religion, social institutions, region, and the time period. Cultural values are often represented in cultural stories, such as Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister and Aschenputtel. For an introduction, Cinderella is a story of a girl who gets hounded by her stepmother and stepsisters, after losing her parents but marries a prince by a help from a fairy godmother. The brothers collected tales from all the other acquaintances. Indeed with these multicultural influences, their stories demonstrated a plain Germanic feature of being arrogance brings you a bad ending. In a scene when the father asked three daughters what he should bring back for them, two sisters ask for “Beautiful dresses”(1) and “Pearls and Jewels”(1). Whereas Cinderella replies, “Father, break off for me the first branch which knocks against your hat on your way home."(1) Unlike her sisters, Cinderella's behavior is compassionate, resilient, humility, which is an ideal female character of the time. The hazel tree often symbolizes wisdom, while the white pigeons who help Cinderella represents peace. Her kindness leads herself to get recognized by a prince and to marry. During their wedding, "the pigeons pecked out one eye of each of them"(4) her two sisters became blinded by holy creatures for their wickedness and falsehood. This shows that the German community desired for a peaceful life after their big war. They might want to make a group of obedience citizens by putting a moral of good leads to good and bad leads to bad. However, in Holland, everything changes. The characters tend to fully show their emotions or to use modesty as a tool to hide their real emotions inside, pride and desire. Margarethe, two sister’s mother, who must keep her
