Disobedience has always been an integral part of progression in human society. Time and time again it has been shown that with disobedience comes freedom, happiness, and new positive ideas. Many protests throughout history have used disobedience to succeed. First of all, the words “disobedience” and “rebellion” go hand in hand, and here's why. Imagine living in China right now in 2023, many citizens there are currently protesting for their rights because of extreme covid lockdowns, the government's censorship, and the abuse of power by Xi Jinping, the president of China. Disobeying the Chinese government could create a new era of freedom without oppression for its citizens, and raise awareness around the world of how many people face human rights violations. This would teach the world and other countries how to help those fighting for human rights, and please its citizens. For these reasons, this disobedience would cause a positive impact all over the world. Say though, that the citizens of China conform with the current laws and regulations of their country. Human rights would continue to be taken away, and citizens would only lose more power over their own country. Obedience would not be a good choice in this situation. …show more content…

Everyone has to know when it's ok, and not ok to disobey. Take for example, disobeying the law. Something as simple as disobeying a traffic law could lead to a catastrophic accident. Disobedience and obedience both need to reach a middle ground to be effective in human
