Clark Proof

As we are logical creatures, it is not obvious to convince someone to act without reasoning. We need evidence or proofs to believe to something or to someone’s beliefs. No one can make you believe something that you do not believe. For example, in marketing, a seller need to give accurate information about his product to convince his buyer. For example, it seems the same way if someone wants to convince whether atheists or agnostics believe the unsupported commandments of God, he needs to prove his existence as well. We defined ourselves as logical creatures, but nothing in this world by definition can surpass God. God, as stated Thomas Aquinas, is known as an “All-powerful, all-knowing, and all-good” (44), he is the greatest thing there is. …show more content…

He surrounded us with evidence of himself such as life, death, natural disasters, etc.… It is hard for some to believe in the existence of god, but even for scientists God is behind everything that science uses to do their experiment. For example on Clark’s proof relied on his principle of sufficient reason, he states that “everything in nature has an explanation and that nothing happens for no reason at all.” (88) The creation of the universe is the valuable evidence to support Clark’s principle. If we take example of the speed of Earth rotation, it can be faster or slower. Just consider this fact: if the rotation of the planet Earth is faster, there will be possible storms like hurricanes and tornadoes; likewise, if the rotation was slower it would cause the Earth too cold at night and too hot during the day. Because of God, the planet earth learns on itself about his perfect speed. The speed has not been monitored like a satellite has been monitored by hundreds of scientist. Also how can we explain, who does the exact fitting distance between the planet earth from the sun to support
