Attempting to increase clientele and retain those new customers is a very real issue for most, if not all businesses. One way Classic Rock Coffee can increase their customer base is through business partnerships. Teaming up with another business or school can prove vital to the success of the 70’s classic rock themed coffee shop. As Julie Burleson, founder and CEO of Young Chefs Academy said “You can almost always accomplish more together than alone.” This statement holds true from students in the classroom to executives in the meeting room. Classic Rock Coffee can team up with school clubs where they can set up fundraising events for the club, the club would oversee printing and handing out flyers to get the word around and Classic Rock Coffee would give back a small percentage of the proceeds to the club in return. Both parties would benefit the club would receive some money for their club and the business would gain new clients who would not have come if it wasn’t for the fundraising event which have the potential to come back if they enjoyed their experience. If Classic Rock Coffee choses to partner with a business instead it can do so with the YMCA of Fullerton where people go to maintain a healthy lifestyle. This would be a perfect partnership since Classic Rock Coffee sells protein shakes and healthy meals where members of the YMCA can go and enjoy something healthy after their workout at a discounted price for owning a gym membership at the YMCA.
