Southern California for many think about Los Angeles and their terrible air quality which in turn creates problems for many people and their body. A big problem that other parts of Southern California have is the Salton Sea and their air quality problems. “On October 28, 2015, the smog-control agency for Los Angeles and the surrounding areas, the South Coast Air Quality Management District, issued an odor advisory for the intense rotten-egg stench that was permeating the air of southern California’s Coachella Valley”(Iovenko 2015). This odor advisory is an actual problem because I personally can say that I smell it on occasion when back at home in the Coachella Valley.
