Since I was younger I used to love to be around animals and help them. I also always enjoyed writing and telling stories to my family. Leading me to believe that the careers that fit me the most is a vet and a writer.Both a writer and a vet have many good qualities about them. A vet practice medicine treating diseases, disorders, and injuries. While a writer develops fiction and or non fiction ideas for plays, poems, novels, etc. To starts of, both of the jobs have a excellent pay. They differ in work environments. They are many different ways to become a vet and writer each has special qualities that would help ensure the job. Clearly, both jobs are interesting and mind blowing to have. Each gets bad a lot of money but the difference in pay is noticeable. Though both their hours can be long and difficult they have a different feel to it. First off, “The mean salary for new graduates in the United States during 2010 was $48,674 including 50% going on to advanced study programs. Those not continuing their studies made $67,359 at first.”(Wikipedia contributors).Besides, the minimum amount of college years the veterinary physicians can make a decent amount amount of money with the basic college mandatory. They can just get their bachelors and been fine but if they were to continue their studies “ The average income for a private practice in the United States rose from $105,510 in 2005 to $115,447 in 2007”(Wikipedia contributors). A vet takes a whole different route from the writer. The vet needs be able to complete the registration test that makes you a registered vet. “..They may have to complete an examination or test in order to complete this registration. For instance, in the United States , a prospective vet must receive a passing grade on the national board examination,...” (Wikipedia contributors). This article is stating that if you want to be a future vet then you must be able to get a passing grade on this test or examination. Different from the writer who just has to have a very broad education throughout the schooling career. The writer would be more wanted if they had a decent knowledge of english, which should be standard, foreign languages, history, general science, social studies, and computer science. This could give the writer a broader amount of writing ways making them more desirable for editors.Allowing the writer to gain more publicity and gain an experience of writer.
