College Admissions Essay: Career, Salary, And Education

Time has flown by and sooner than expected it is time to decide what career I want to pursue. I wasn’t sure until a few weeks ago, constantly feeling pressured by those around hoping I was confident about what I wanted to be when I grew up. I’ve changed my mind a million times, thoughts of money, happiness, and success were key factors into my decision, and I only had one college in mind. As I researched around I began to understand what qualifications I needed for not just the degree, but for the colleges as well. Many of my friends are still clueless about what they want to do, but I realize that no one is quite certain, even myself. What if I change my mind along the road? What if I don’t pass the qualifications of the program after a year …show more content…

I was curious as to what I would find. Surprised by some of the results and unfazed by others. Some schools are prestigious, while others are underrated or have a reputation for being an underachievement. There were both pros and cons, the prices, the locations, the requirements. Either way I continued to search through the web hoping to find answers that would solve my questions of, “What will I be when I grow up?” and “Where will I begin my journey?”
