People can be making double the amount just because they have a basic college degree. In the future there will be less and less jobs that require only a high school degree. People are starting to believe that college is not important, but people are more likely to get a job faster. There are so many colleges that people can go to that are cheap. College is a big investment, but those will be higher-skilled, they can get scholarships to help with the cost, and they will be paid more.
There are many people that think college is a waste of time, but people will be higher-skilled, it’s a good investment, and they will be more knowledgeable. “Education helps people do higher-skilled work, get jobs with better-paying companies or open their own businesses (Leonhardt)”. This shows that when people get a college education, then they will get a better job and will have a better work ethic.
