Wrigley Field over Comiskey Park In the city of Chicago where there are two professional baseball teams, one being the on the north side of town, the Chicago Cubs, and the other being on the south side of town, The White Sox’s. There is only one park where people feel that they sitting in a historical shrine, that can take people back to the past, and is the greatest place to experience a baseball game. Both teams have a long history that has seen some of the all-time great players represented in the city of Chicago. The White Sox started playing in 1900-1910 at South Side Park, then to Cominsky Park, till 1991, but from 1910-12, it was known as White Sox Park, then they built a new field and called it U S Cellular field. (Even though the city of Chicago has two baseball teams playing only eight miles apart, there can only be one favorite team in the city to go see a game of baseball play at, and that would be Wrigley …show more content…

The older fields are so unique that could never be duplicated, are always trying to be copied in some ways, but they can never have the feeling of history like Babe Ruth hitting a home run in there ball park, or old news reels, showing how little the park has changed from when it first open to the present day. Then you can go to U S Cellular, in which can only be said that it is a very generic ball park, there is no feel of history, because there is no history. And if people are brave enough to go to the upper deck, they better have a safety rope to get tied down so they roll all the way down to the field, there is such an incline to get to their seats it is scary. There are some good things to say about White Sox Park there are abundances of parking and no lines to wash rooms and better food, there is a reason for no lines and parking is because nobody goes to the games. Wrigley is going through some upgrading at this present time, by adding some new bleachers, and remodeling some new washrooms, and carefully keeping thing as close to the original design, to keep the
