Commentary On The Book 'A Monster' By Margaret Atwood

In the book a monster calls Conor’s life is not easy there are so many trials that he is going through, and this is the same with everyone. We all have different trials and tough times that we are all trying to get through and trying to find peace in this rough world. The question that I came up with while reading this book is, how can we find peace and happiness through trials and tough times? This book is a great example of getting through trials and finding the peace that you can feel when you get through a trial. There is always a rainbow after rain which means there are gonna be tough times and things that we don't want to deal with but once we get through it and look back on why it happened we can always learn lessons from it to help us be happy. In this book Conor is going through a huge trial in his life something most people won't have to deal with but it is such a great example of how no matter how hard a trial is there are always people there to help us, and there is always a way to get through it. All of these lesson I have learned from tough times in my life has ultimately brought me to be able to find peace and happiness. I've learned that we actually need trials. If nobody had trials then we wouldn't understand what it would actually be like to feel peace and happiness. Another thing that I have gone through in my own life that has helped me realize this is trying to figure out what college I wanted to go to. This might sound like a really small issue to some people but this was really hard for me. There are so many options and so many places I wanted to go and it was really hard for me to pick. Then I finally chose to go here BYU I and I could not be happier with my decision. Not only have I been able to learn this through personal experiences but I saw a really good movie that helped me learn this as
