Boom, the sound where 1 rocketship had a scar on America. There are similarities between "Disaster in the Sky" and “The Space shuttle Challengerexplodes after liftoff”. The two articles have quite a few similarities, both of the articles talk about the horrifying reactions and people in disbelief.
There are a lot of differences between the two articles. Though, I do know that there were quotes from an astronaut in the Space shuttle Challenger that exploded after liftoff. I didn't see a quote from Disaster in the Sky. In “Disaster in the Sky" Kristin lewis is very descriptive in her story. There was a lot of good detail and you can feel the events happen.

The author, Kristin lewis describes how the people don’t know how to react. The people are in disbelief. Next, the people just react with tears and disbelief.
