Ender’s Game v.s Ender’s Game movie After I read Ender’s Game I watched the movie and I can’t say the movie was bad, but many things in the movie were not relevant at all to the book. The movie was way too short and they fast forwarded too many things. They also dumbed down the twists like when Ender destroys the Buggers when he thought it was a simulation game. It even ditched all the somewhat important things. They must have cut out over 2 hours of plot between every new scene.
In Ray Bradbury and Suzanne Collins’s dystopian novels Fahrenheit 451 and The Hunger Games, their protagonists Guy Montag and Katniss Everdeen shared evident similarities. If closely looked at further, a couple of differences can be spotted as well. Although one may notice a few differences between the protagonists in Fahrenheit 451 and The Hunger Games, there are actually more similarities than one may realize, such as both protagonists conform to the dystopian society in the beginning but object to it in the end, both create alliances along the way, and they are both confused about their relationships. In the two dystopian novels Fahrenheit 451 and The Hunger Games, their protagonists Guy Montag and Katniss Everdeen do have a couple of differences.
In Orson Scott Card’s book Ender’s Game, Ender is continually set up against impossible odds by the International Fleet, which is part of a plan to train Ender to fight in the Third Invasion and end the bugger wars forever. Ender’s trials are portrayed more convincingly in the book, as the book shows him struggling with the expectations placed upon him more so than in the movie. An important theme in Ender’s Game is that Ender is continually kept in the dark about the events happening around him. This theme is prevalent throughout the book, and sets the stage for the book’s climax, the Third Invasion.
The whole time Ender had not been aware he had killed them, and the leaders were manipulating him for his own sake. They explain that they didn’t tell him that he actually killed both Bonzo and Stilson; so that he wouldn’t think of himself as a killer. Throughout the book Ender repeats that he doesn’t want to hurt anyone and doesn’t like that he has to be violent in order to be safe. If Ender would’ve found out, it would destroy his motivation and drive to want to be the best he can be. All in all, Ender is an overall better person because of the fact he didn’t know the

The movie was a good representation but it did not capture the major details that made the book a good book. One major detail that was lost during the production of the movie was when Peter and Valentine took on new identities as Locke and Demosthenes. Another major detail that was left out of the movie was when the adults treated Ender unfairly and caused lots of stress for Ender. The last difference that the movie did not put enough time into the production was the Mind Game.
The Hunger Games vs. The US The Hunger Games is an adventurous yet somewhat violent trilogy that shows another side of what American government could turn into. The US government is slightly different from Panem’s government, but has similar qualities. Both take place in the United States and have a President, but Panem’s President is president until they die. Where as the US President is president for four years and then there is an election.

Vaishnavi has always been an extremely intelligent, but extremely timid girl in class; only around her friends does she act like herself, a huge fan of books and dance. She convinced me and our other friends that The Hunger Games was better than Divergent by animatedly talking: “Divergent is just a copy of The Hunger Games. They both have a dystopian world with a female main character and Hunger Games is so much better written.
