“The Gettysburg Address” was given on November 19, 1863 and the “I Have a Dream” speech was given on August 28, 1963. The ‘’Gettysburg Address” and I Have a Dream speech are both similar speeches that had to deal with African American civil rights. Also they had 100 years between them being given and they are both some of the most important American speeches.
