In the text “Letter from Birmingham jail” and “Antigone” both express their thoughts and ideas. Both stories are about how they were treated different and poorly. Dr. King and Antigone showing us how they were treated and had to go thru for the most part. In Antigone she shows the determination that she is doing to bury her brother and not get in trouble. In Letter from Birmingham jail its shows how he is trying to make everyone have their right and be treated equally. In “Letter from Birmingham jail” due to racism and injustice people would be harm people of color and treat them different. Dr. King always tried his best to do a change to make everyone be treated equally. He wanted everyone to have the same rights and not be scared to be out because of the disrespect the people of color use to get. As in the story “Antigone” she always wanted to do something for her dead brother. She knew wanted to do that could cause her to get in trouble but she honestly didn’t care she just wanted to do what she always wanted to which was to just bury him and she could be in peace. In “Antigone” you can see how she disobeyed the rules she asked to not do but she yet did it for a good cause to her. Then there was Ismene she was more of trying to help her sister not get in trouble and not to do things she wasn’t supposed to, but Antigone didn’t want to listen to her. Antigone just saw it as her brother just laying there was disrespectful to her, so she wanted to change it without being caught but didn’t end very well. As in “Letter from Birmingham jail” the disrespect they had towards him and the people of color and how they were always made to things even if was the worst or hardest things to
