the 16th century two massive empires ruled over Latin America. The Inca and the Aztec once ruled the area where both empires have many advantages on physical features which lead to the development of the empires. For the better advantage the Inca Empire would excel at the development of their empire better than the Aztec Empire. Living on the Andes Mountains the Inca Empire created Adobe or Stone brick homes from their ingenuity to over come the rainy like weather. With their ingenuity and craftsmanship this civilization created elevated aqueducts that prevents floods hitting their home in which it did work as some still stand.
The Aztec Empire like Ottomans and the Mughals existed in the same time period 1428-152 and share some common points despite the vast difference in culture. Like the Ottomans and the Mughals the Aztecs were also a strong force compared to its neighbors terrifying outside powers who lived nearby. All three Empires relayed on war to expand its borders and influence. The Aztecs and the Ottomans also both had system that allowed for talented commoners to move up the ranks. All three empires also to some extent relied on trade to further itself or get basic goods.
Prior to the voyage of Christopher Columbus in 1492, there were multiple empires growing to astonishing amounts of power on different sides of the earth. In the undiscovered Western Hemisphere, the great empire of the Aztecs were growing to considerable size and power; single handily controlling regional trade. In the highly active Eastern Hampshire, the powerful empire of Songhai was quickly becoming one of the strongest and wealthiest West African empires in history. The success of these empires came from a strong combination of historic prospectives, but those which helped define their legacies were a combination of: physical, capital, state action and ideas. Through analyzing these perspectives, there is a considerable finding that there are many similarities and differences between each empire that account for many years of regional power.
Spanish Conquest of the Aztecs It was the year of 1521 when Hernán Cortés’ forces had defeated the Aztecs and gained control in the siege of Tenochtitlán. This success was not due to luck, but instead it was due to a few of the cultural traits that Victor Davis Hanson had mentioned in “Carnage and Culture.” A few of the traits in particular that are evident are the “landed infantry” trait, the “technology” trait, and the “decisive battle” trait. These traits are displayed through his strategy planning during the battle as well as the use of superior weapons and allowed Cortés to gain an advantage over the Aztecs, ultimately allowing him to be victorious despite being surrounded in the previous battles by the Aztecs.
They were very brutal fighters they showed no mercy towards their foe’s they did whatever it took to win the war (Doc 1). They were land hungry people that wanted to expand their empire. Their capital was Tenochtitlan this is where they would take most of their prisoners to perform human sacrifice rituals towards idol’s that represented their gods. Most of the Aztec’s army was commoners. All men in aztec society were given some form of military training so that they could join the army in their warlike society so that they could fight for the empire or even in a flower war to provide for the human sacrifice supply(Doc 1).
The aztecs eventually founded huge, massive empires by the about the fifteenth century. These empires thrived in religion, culture and war.

The Aztec and Inca Empires were two empires that grew their power and success through innovation. The Aztec Empire was an empire located in modern-day Mexico. This empire was a widespread empire, with its capital city of Tenochtitlan resting on an island in the middle of a lake. Due to the empire being very widespread, a road system was necessary to connect the empire and maintain control. With the location of the capital city, came the extreme need for a new, more advanced system of agriculture.
In the 1500’s The Inca civilization ended in 1532 and their civilization started around 1438. The Aztec empire however, started in 1427 and ended in 1521. they both built amazing empires that are still recognized today. They believed in gods, they invented clever inventions, and created a lifestyle for the whole empire.
The soceties greatest achievments included bulding Machu Picchu, developing an extensive road system that connected the empire, and developing Quipu. The Aztec Empire is based in Central Mexico, where Mexico City is today. Their geographic advantages included moderate climate and a system of interconnecting lakes which provded a water source. The Aztec's had a powerful army and warfare tactics that helped to expand their empire. They ruled using the tribute system, if you paid your taxes then you were left alone.
History should say that the Aztecs were very confident about their beliefs as an empire. The Aztecs were an empire located on the Plateau of Mexico. They had a very powerful government. The Aztecs believed that they gods kept the world going. The Aztecs had many customs and traditions in order to please the gods.
The Aztecs conflict and defeat The Aztecs were respectful, religious people, and they also conquered neighboring states/cities. The conflict and defeat of the Aztecs was not unavoidable. The Spanish used god, glory, and gold to make the Aztec empire weak. God: caused the conflict and defeat of the Aztecs, Glory: wanted fame and trust from the King and rise up to the nobility, Gold: wanted to make Spain rich, so they could buy and make expensive material and expand their empire.
War, an act partaken by almost every major nation and civilization that has ever been around in the world. War has been the fall of many civilizations, the cause of deaths of millions and the destruction of the history of people. There has been one war of particular interest that has changed the face of a civilization permanently, and that was the Spanish war with the Aztecs a war that made what the current country of Mexico. This war was diversely influenced by many things such as race and gender and served as a reminder of political and social decisions that should or should not have been made and shows a surprising similarity to events taken in the United States.
To Kill a Mockingbird, written by Harper Lee, is a literary classic. Over the years the novel To Kill a Mockingbird has been challenged and removed from the school curriculum. Many people have stated that it is no longer relevant as well as does not address topics such as rape or racism in a sensitive nature. To Kill a Mockingbird is a harsh novel, for that reason this novel should not continue to be taught in high school classrooms. The central conflict of the story is the raping of Mayella Ewell, which was later in the book proven false, subjects such as rape can be an extensive issue, especially with younger ages.
The Inca, Aztecs, and Mayan are similar from they worshiped gods. As they worshiped god very religiously and did sacrifices with everyone as there are a bunch of ceremonies for there gods for rain crops food. They all used the same resources for building Adobe was one of the biggest resources for houses throughout the inca aztec and mayan empires. All empires ended in the 1500s Actually all the Inca, Aztec and Mayan empires ended in the 1500s once the spanish took over and kill them with diseases but the mayan did slowly disappear. All of some of the major dates that happened in an empire happened in 1400 ad As in the Inca empire The Inca, led by Manco Capac, migrate to the Cuzco Valley and establish their capital at Cuzco.
