In addition, one other philosopher to wade in on the discussion of Christian ethics is Richard Mouw. Unlike Paul Tillich, Mouw specifically rejected those who took a situational approach and who focused on love exclusively. Consequently, Mouw suggested that just because there was one biblical commandment, a law of love, that it did not rule out the possibility of other biblical commandments on other issues.
