Compare And Contrast Pavl And The Holocaust

You hear the the word extermination. You have two things to do. You can live in the sewers like a monster, or you can die. Well these events that two different characters had to chose Kristana chose the sewer and Pavl chose the to died. The two characters wanted to be free from the Nazi’s. Both were living in the Ghetto in WW2 1935-1945 where they both would have be killed because they were Jewish. Kristina spent 14 months in the sewers. Pavl was in the ghetto for seven weeks before he died.

The two stories the Butterfly and Krystynas stories have some similar things. The butterfly takes place in the Ghetto. In the Butterfly it says, “I’ved be in this place for seven weeks in this panned Ghetto”. In the Krystyna's story it says, “Daddy found out that there would be a liquidation of the Ghetto”. The main enemy in the Stories are the Nazis. In the butterfly, Pavl dies and the people killing Jews in WW2 were the Nazis. In Krystyna's story says the were going to get Liquidated and the Nazis did that. Both people in the stories wanted freedom from the Germans. In the Butterfly, Pavl wants to fly be free like a butterfly. In Krystyna's story she keeps asking her dad if they could be free.

In the butterfly Pavl dies in the city of Oswiecim by the Nazi’s. In Krystyna’s story the whole family ends up to survive WW2. In the story it says ¨One day we heard a strong knocking on the sewer grates. These were our sewer workers who told us that we were free.¨ In the Butterfly the guy lives in the ghetto for seven weeks. In the story it states,For seven weeks I've lived in here. In Krystyna’s story She is in the sewers for 14 months. In the story it says We lived like this for 14 months. Our sewer workers helped us all the time.
