New England was fed up with the Church of England and the Puritans wanted to recreate their own religion which they thought was more New England was dissatisfied with the Church of England and the Puritans wanted to reconstruct their own religion which they thought was more what God had believed was the intended belief. Pennsylvania was mainly Proprietary, because the king gave them land so they could establish their own colony. His goal for this newly established colony was to allow freedom of religion due to his desire to protect himself and fellow Quakers from persecution. Their economic activity was based on the Triangular Trade, they traded tobacco, cotton, corn, vegetable, grain and livestock. Their climate and geography had impacted their economic activities. The colonists used slave plantations which enabled them to have people do work for them for however long they wanted to. They traded their crops for supplies that couldn't be made on the plantations like farming tools and other non crops. They elected their own legislature and they were all democrats.
