Edgar Allen Poe was an American editor, writer, and literary critic. He is best known for his short stories and poetry, mainly his scarier poems and stories. Poes wrote at least 52 stories throughout his life, he wrote all type of stories. In class we read “The Black Cat,” “The House of Ushers,” “The Raven,” “The Tall-Tale Heart,” “The Red Death” and “The Cask of Amontillado.” All of the narrators in the stories are different, some are reliable and some are not, some have names but most don’t.
