The Gupta Empire–an ancient Indian empire–was founded in 320 CE, it survived until 550 CE. The Gupta Empire was made up of most of north and central India, and Bangladesh. It was known to be one of the most peaceful and wealthy civilizations of its time. The Mauryan Empire expired in 185 B.C.E due to the assassination of their king. For the next 50 decades, a large number of states were at constant war in India. Hope was restored when Chandragupta took the throne and began the notable empire in 320 CE. Chandragupta set up a stable civilization with a well-functioning government, on the other hand, Samudragupta–Chandragupta' son –was solely responsible for extending the empire. He violently raided through Indian territories.
