Aaron Copland was born in Brooklyn, New York on November 14, 1900. Growing up as a child Copland found himself attending a few different musicals such as New York symphony and Brooklyn Academy of music. Like many other young musicians, he was attracted to the classical history and musicians of Europe. In 1906 Copland was attending public school 111 in Brooklyn. By 1909 he was already making up songs on the piano.
As a whole, Kervorkian’s background was very exclusive and many ponder on the idea of his works. Kervorkian was born on May 26, 1928 in Pontiac, Michigan. Kervorkian was the second of three children who were born to Armenian immigrants, Levon and Satenig Kervorkian. Levon and Satenig were refugees who had escaped the Armenian Massacres.
Her father, Friedrich Wieck, was a pianist and with the help of her father, Clara Schumann was taught how to play a piano. Wieck did not want the “obstacles of [Clara’s] sex” to get in the way of teaching his daughter how to play piano and he “hoped to prove his superiority as a teacher” by doing so (Cromley, 16). Till the age of eighteen, her father wrote her music or looked over what she was writing in her diary. Wieck tried to live his music life through Clara Schumann’s life. When Clara was young, she attended opera and orchestral concert on a regular basis.

Oskar Schindler born in Zwittau Czechoslovakia on April the twenty eighth nineteen zero eight in a home inspired with his parents deep religious beliefs. His neighbors were a Jewish family by the name of the Rabbi family. They had two sons with whom Oskar became best friends with. The family were one of the richest families in his home town, but because of the deep economic depression in the 1930s his family became bankrupt.

Kate Chopin was born named Catherine O’Flaherty in St.Louis on February 8, 1850. Chopin was brought up in a home dominated by women. Her father, a successful Irish businessman died when she was five years old. Her mother was Eliza Faris came from a old French family that lived closely to St.Louis. Chopin spent her childhood in a attic constantly reading new books as well as being told stories about her great-great-grandmother who was a very successful person.
Unlike Mozart, Beethoven had a hard enough life in Germany. At the age of eleven Beethoven was supporting his mother and two siblings, by performing as an organist and harpsichordist. At the age of seventeen Beethoven had the opportunity to study under Mozart. Mozart believed that “he will make a noise in the world some day.” However, Beethoven wasn’t able to study long, because his mother had became ill.
At a young age of thirteen he had to work at a bank to help his family. Then, he left the school at eighteen and became an elementary teacher for a short time. Also, he became a newspaper reporter before trying his luck sailing as a merchant to Liverpool, England. In the summer of 1839 he came

He was born into a middle-class family which allowed him to be able to have the ability to have access to music at an early age. His mother was a key figure in his life when it came to music. She encouraged him to seek out a musical instrument when he was young. He started playing the piano very early in life, around the age of six, and it soon became clear to his family that he had a natural talent for it. He went on to study the piano and take piano lessons, per his family’s suggestion, soon after his talent was discovered.
During his time in the United States, he would still compose multiple pieces, including my focus piece, Carnival Overture. Four years later though, he would move back to the Austrian Empire because he was homesick. His final years were very peaceful in the Austrian Empire. He would mainly compose operas at that time.

Having previously been taught piano by his older sister, Chopin first started receiving professional music lessons in 1816 and it was immediately apparent that he had enormous talent. By the time he was eight years old, he had already given his first public concert. He attended the Warsaw Lyceum, where he took organ lessons; subsequently leaving school to attend the Warsaw Conservatoire of Music where he studied music theory, figured bass and composition.
