Unlike Mozart, Beethoven had a hard enough life in Germany. At the age of eleven Beethoven was supporting his mother and two siblings, by performing as an organist and harpsichordist. At the age of seventeen Beethoven had the opportunity to study under Mozart. Mozart believed that “he will make a noise in the world some day.” However, Beethoven wasn’t able to study long, because his mother had became ill. A couple years later Beethoven returned to Vienna, and there he worked under Hayden. In which, Hayden saw Beethoven's potential and took him under his wing.
