Mrs.Breed is a librarian who sends books to kids who have been sent to concentration camps. She gives the kids something to look forward to and not have all negative things in there life.
In the diary of Anne Frank and the Timeline, there is lots of information to be gathered. There are events that were separated on the timeline and in the play and things that were about Anne Frank in the timeline and the play. To figure these events out, there are many strategies I used to combine information about historical events and personal family. I recently finished watching the 2009 The Diary Of Anne Frank move and the play. Both version of the story demonstrated how a young Jewish girl and her family fought to escape the Nazis. In the beginning, Anne was a young privileged girl who had just finished celebrating her 13th birthday. A few days after, she, her family, and the Van Daans moved into a secret Annex for hiding. By the middle, the two families experienced many situations where they shared differences, that often led to harsh disagreements.
In the Anne Frank's diary she talks about how the people of the secret annex are like a little blue piece of heaven surrounded by a dark cloud. There are many different examples of what this might mean but I think it is about the annex and the war. I think she says this because she is happy in the annex but worried about what is happening outside. She compares them to a “little blue piece of heaven surrounded by heavy black rain clouds” (frank 115).
In this paragraph the reader will know that Anne frank and her family had a conflict, They can’t leave their home and also they don’t want to the star of David because people will spit on them. In the Story of the diary of Anne Frank it said “I must be out of here and downstairs in the office before workmen get here.” (page 706) This shows that they were escaping and they didn’t want to get caught. Also in page 709 peter was saying to Anne , “You can’t throw…?

Imagine how it feels to be stuck in a tiny, miniscule room for almost two years, not able to make a sound or movement and if heard by someone,death or concentration camp is the destination? The Diary of Anne Frank by Frances Goodrich and Albert Hackett is about a small family which consists of Anne, Margot, Mr. Frank, and Mrs. Frank who were in a shock of fear, and went into hiding during the Nazi occupation of the Netherlands. Over the course of the story other characters join the family into hiding such as Mr. and Mrs. Van Daan, and their son Peter. During the time of hiding, Anne kept a diary to write down all her thoughts, fears, and feelings and was later known to be the most important piece of literature from the times of the Holocaust. The story takes you through their everyday lives of hiding in the annex which also includes arguing and times of happiness.
