Throughout time, it made its way to China. While in China, Buddhism was viewed by the people in many ways, both positive and negative.
This religion believes in the art of reincarnation, which is being reborn into another creature. Hindus believe in multiple gods, but the most important one is Brahma, the Hindu God of creation. They also believe in karma, a law of cause and effect by which an individual creates their own destiny by their actions. According to Document 7, Hinduism is constructed by a caste system that is also followed in India. The system divides Hindus into hierarchical groups based on their karma and duties.
There is still an ongoing debate between Hinduism and Buddhism. Buddhism is commonly known as the offshoot of Hinduism and Buddha is seen as originally being a part of Hindu religion. It is widely understood that Buddhism derived from Hinduism and became popular in India. Both Hinduism and Buddhism originate from the subcontinent, India and were formed in ancient times. They are very similar from afar, but when seen up close they far from the same.

Though the Hindu Vedas were around about 1,000 years before the birth of the Buddha, the creation of Hinduism continued well into the years after Buddha's life. Veda teachings, which were originally associated with Brahmanism, were not written, but passed down through speaking and stories until sometime after Buddha's death wrote them down.

Samsara is a belief that there is a continual passing process that a soul from one body moves to another. Though its not believed that the soul goes to heaven or hell, it is reborn into another body. Basically the soul repeats in a birth and death cycle or reincarnation cycle seeking for liberation. It is believed that Samsara is a way of punishment to represent the way of life.
Buddhism/Hinduism vs. Christianity: Afterlife The concept of afterlife is different for many. Some would say there is a heaven or hell, or some would believe in the concept of reincarnation. The answer varies from different peoples perspective in terms of their religion or personal opinion; yet despite these differences it is agreed that different concepts of afterlife in different religions can have a certain degree of similarity or comparison. Although Buddhism/Hinduism and Christianity are three different religions in terms of where the soul enters in afterlife; they do have many similarities such as a reward and punishment system and second chances to redeem oneself.

Hinduism was originally practiced by an ancient population, the Aryans. About 2500 years ago, or 1500 years after the beginning of Hinduism, a prince by the name of Siddhartha Gautama realized that even princes can not escape illness and death after he saw those who suffer from them. Ted Bundy, born as Theodore Robert Cowell, sexually assaulted and murdered multiple women. The actual number is around 30 women but possibly more. Ted Bundy would fake disabilities and injuries to win his victims trust before murdering them. Bundy would continue to visit his victims even after they were dead and their remains started decomposing to give himself sexual gratification. Ted would search around the country for his ideal victim until he was finally apprehended and given the capital punishment in January 1989.

Other differences lie in the teachings, practices, idol worshipping, religious laws, symbols and concept of God. This essay will be comparing Jainism and Christianity. Jainism is a religion located almost solely in western and central India, founded by Vardhamana Mahavira in 580 BCE. Christianity is based on the teachings of Jesus Christ in 30 AD and has spread all throughout the world, especially in Europe, the United States, and South America. There are currently more than two billion Christians in the world, while Jains number close to four million. There are approximately 200 million Christians in the US, while Jain numbers are too marginal to count at less than 1% of the population.
