A home builds memories, shapes personalities, and guides interests. A homes location can tell a lot about a person living in it. Those lucky enough to have more than one home can get the better of two worlds. A home away from home can be a perfect escape from all the negatives that come about in a persons home. My homes in Georgia and Florida are naturally peaceful, and enjoyable, however; each home has its own special characteristics of those things that sets them apart. My primary residence is in Gray, Georgia, and my home away from home is in Panama City beach, Florida. Both of these homes are peaceful, but in their own unique way. My home in Georgia is centered on a slower pace of life. Variety is healthy thing have and mixing between a fast and slow peace is essential to ones well being. Hunting is a slower pace thing to do and its right in my back yard. Waiting on a deer to cross my path such an exciting moment. The fishing is also at a slow pace. The small ponds offer little luck to catch a fish, but it makes it all that more exciting to get one on the hook. With a slower pace of life friendships are valued even greater. When there is not a great deal of things to do quality time with friends becomes more frequent in a slower paced life. Having less distractions allows for more enjoyment of the simple things. My home in Florida is quite the opposite. The fast pace life at the beach is the perfect balance with Georgia. There are so many homes all packed together along the beach so lots action is going on. People are having parties, and playing on the beach. The water of course is where the best enjoyment is, but lets not forget the food. Fishing in the gulf is far more fast paced than in Georgia. Hundreds of boats roar by and numerous schools of fish are just waiting to be snagged. All the commotion of the people on the beach adds to the excitement. Every now and then the para sailors fly high in the sky above the city. All the people below marvel at how high they have gone and the bravery it takes to do such a thing. The nightlife in Florida is certainly a welcome change from the often slow pace of Georgia. Countless restaurants, shops, and clubs draw a crowd every night. Walking along the main drag of the outdoor mall while listening to the live music from the taverns is just the start. The clubs are always full and serve as the perfect night outing to make new friends. For the active people, the basketball courts are my favorite place to be at night on the beach. There is always a game going on
