Who knew planes could fly over a major financial crash! As it turns out, they did. Planes were a new mode of transportation that was introduced by the Wright Brother and was finding its place in the world as most great inventions do. Though as it turns out, it was during the Great Depression this industry flourished and began to integrate into the lives of the american people. Planes were new to the scene and need to fill a demand.
Although separated by over 430 years, the most notable adventures of Christopher Columbus and Charles Lindbergh are both two pieces in the history of exploration. Like many other ventures, they share some similar characteristics: the intent of the trip, the obstacles that came as a result, the important factors that made each quest successful or unsuccessful, and the final result of their travels. The expeditions share many similarities, yet have various differences. In the grand scheme of things, however, they both interconnect the most with their vitality to the progress in the world that we live in.
What this prize entailed was a nonstop solo flight from New York to Paris, and many had been killed or injured failing to complete the mission. Lindbergh was ready to take this dare on but was without a suitable plane. With a bit of financial help, Lindbergh managed to secure the manufacturing of his special plane, The Spirit of St.Louis, from Ryan Aeronautical Company of San Diego. This custom N-X-211 build specifically for the long distance flight, would go onto become an iconic symbol in American history and currently resides in the National Air and Space Museum in Washington, D.C. After a quick test flight of 20 hours from San Diego to New York, Lindbergh was ready to embark on this endeavor.

Each men and their fleets had two completely different reason for their travel. Christopher Columbus purpose was to find a new trade way to the Asian countries. Zheng He's purpose was to enlarge empires control of seaway trade.
Mark Twain and Frederick Douglass both have interesting ways of writing. There are similarities and differences in their writing. There was the desire of escaping and going to places where they are free to congregate by their philosophies in which they have faith. John Winthrop saw America as a country in which they could not have any interference from the government. Winthrop sees America as a paradise and a place for religious freedom.
John Smith and William Bradford journeyed to uncharted lands with different intentions. Both men shared similar occurrences, but handled each situation with a different mean. Whether the intent was guided by hope of riches or religious freedom, the authors faced many hardships. The speech, objective, and mood deviate from and correspond to William and John’s accounts. William Bradford’s diction differed from Smith due to the theological beliefs that guided his writing.
Fredrick Douglas and Benjamin Franklin are both one of the most famous successful in American history. They both followed a certain milestone to make them successful. Even though they are considered hard workers, they both have different obstacles and different views in their lifestyle. Fredrick Douglas used to be a slave who was a fugitive and Benjamin Franklin was young white man who had a rough time with his parent because his parents are very abusive to him. By comparing the difference and similarities by these two great people in American history even though they had their rough times, that does not stop them from their success.

There were a lot of American men who had perfect influence on people’s mind of American society. Jonathan Edward and Benjamin Franklin were two of those writers, who were the most important and intellectual men, who left behind many admirable works for the future society. In spite of them being so intelligent, they have some different and similar views in terms of morality, personal responsibility, human nature, and limits of human knowledge and inform people how to live a better life. In addition, they were different in terms of religious inclinations. Benjamin Franklin and Jonathan Edward were both philosopher and had similar views in terms of informing people the right way to live in order to be successful and get salvation by reforming their mind in their life.

First of all, William Bradford provides an in-depth look into the first moment when the Puritans arrived in the Americas. In fact, he chronicles the hardships they face on their way to Plymouth, yet he includes God’s provision every step of the way.
Both John Smith and William Bradford were Englishmen who came to America and helped to found the earliest colonies in New England. They came at different times and for different reasons. Both tell of events during these travels in their written accounts, but these accounts show that the two men, as well as their goals, were drastically different. Captain John Smith, considered to be the first American writer, came to America in the spring of 1607. He had many adventures prior to the voyage to New England, and thought quite highly of himself, as is clear in his writings.
“The airplane stays up because it doesn 't have time to fall” Wilbur Wright said this quote because he never gave up on inventing the first plane. Through his and orville’s trial and error they created and flew the first plane in mankind. Through their creation they changed the mode of transportation forever. The airplane now travels people, animals and luggage in a very short amount of time. The Wright Brothers didn 't just affect america but the whole world!
