“You can murder the murderer, but it doesn’t murder murder.” says a bright mind known as Martin Luther King Jr. Malcolm X and Martin Luther King Jr. were both victims of racism, violence, and social prejudice. Both wise men had philosophies that they lived by and preached with all their hearts. What philosophy between the two men was best during the 1960s? Martin Luther King Jr.’s outlook advocated that blacks had no alternative to non-violence. On the other hand Malcolm X’s was that anything was necessary to protect yourself from racism by any means needed, even if that includes violent actions.
