I chose this two speech’s by Ethan Crabtree and Ben Everett because they were both similar in the topic. They were about the nutrition of the human body and how Aspartame affects the human body. In this paper, I will be comparing and contrasting the way they were delivered, how much knowledge each one the speakers seemed to have about their topic, and there visual aid work such as, handouts, PowerPoints, and or poster boards. And the highlights of each speech. Ethan’s speech was about how a good balanced diet and exercising can be very advantageous to the health of your body. He talked about how 1 in 3 Americans are obese because they eat too much and don’t exercise regularly. Which can lead to many diseases such as diabetes which is common in American. If Americans’ continue on this path the 1 in 3 which is already a lot of people will more than likely increase. Ethan delivered this speech in a clear, confident way you could easily understood what he was saying. He didn’t make his stand on the topic clear it was like looking thought muddy water. . That it was cleared by the F.D.A in 1974 and then put it on hold in 1981, 1983. He stated that if you drink diet cokes such as: Diet coke, coke zero, and Dr. Pepper Zero you ingest 32 times the amount that the FDA recommends. And that there is Aspartame in Soft Drinks, Yoghurt, Chewing Gum, Cooking Sauce, Crisps, Tabletop Sweeteners, and drink powders. Ben delivered his speech confidently and clearly a little better than Ethan did, because he was able to make me see his stand on the topic. Ben also had two forms of visual aids he had a power point and a handout. His power point was just as bland as Ethan’s power point in the fact that it was a no trills kind of power point. His hand out was a master piece it was full of useful information as which soft drinks had Aspartame in
