There are many lessons learned in the stories, "The King and the Shirt" and "Stonecutter". The first story, The King and the Shirt", teaches us about happiness. This story taught us that lesson by having a ordinary man who was extremely happy with his life, even though he didn't own very much. The story also makes the reader think different about their life. The second story, "Stonecutter", teaches us that nobody is better than you, and that you don't need to be somebody else to be happy. This story taught us that by having the main character be able to change places as the things he thought was more powerful.
