When I read the Lord Of the Flies I was impressed by the author’s ability and wording. But what truly caught my eye was The Maze Runner by James Dashner it features multiple boys that are thrown into a maze with their memories wiped, they fight their way out of the maze to a futuristic society that had abducted them and wiped their memories. The main character Thomas and the other boys, the Gladers go through many levels of pain such as mental pain, grief and also physical pain. Just when they thought that it couldn’t any worse they receive one last person and a note saying this is the last one ever and then they are thrown into panic and then to top it off the wall that protected the Gladers from the monsters at night doesn’t close.
The Maze Runner and the Lord of the Flies are two distinctive works of art that exude distinctive similarities and disparities. As two important works of art, there are thematic facets that are exuded in the two works of art. The two works of art show differences and similarities especially in the themes and other facets. Therefore, this paper will compare the Lord of the Flies and Maze Runner in regards to the similarity in the themes evident.
How could, “Maze Runner,” by James Dashner and, “Ender’s Game,” by Orson Scott Card possibly relate? “Maze Runner,” is about a group of boys stuck in a maze and they don’t know how they got there or how to escape. “Ender’s Game,” is about a young boy named Ender that is super intelligent and the government is using him to be their new commander against the buggers. Although the stories have very different plots the author’s use both character archetype and mood to help develop a theme of people with lots of power will go to extreme heights to keep their power.
Jones the farmer was the animal’s “leader” on Manor farm until the revolution came and Napoleon the pig took control, he renamed the farm “Animal Farm”, he gets help ruling Animal Farm with another pig; Squealer. The animals did not like being ruled by humans so they started a revolution and kicked all of the humans out. Napoleon wanted to change the farm and make it a better place but he abused the power that was given to him, and formed a dictatorship. There is also a pig named Snowball that wanted to rule

Animal Farm by George Orwell is a political satire/fable. Animal Farm is a book about a farm of animals rebelling against their human farmer. They hope to create a society where they are equal and free. There is no set main character in this book, but the most “important” character is Napoleon. Napoleon is leader of the big group of animals and controls what happens on the farm.
Animal farm written by George Orwell tells the story of the Russian revolution through the eyes and actions of farm animals. The animals revolt against their farmer Mr.Jones in order to stop the cruelty being inflicted on them. In a turn of events the new leader Napoleon also starts to treat the animals unfairly. We see in the last chapter the quote “The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig… but already it was impossible to say which was which”. Showing the cycle the animalism tried to break when they revolted has been repeated once again.
Throughout The Hunger Games and The Maze Runner three themes are predominantly shown in ways that are quite similar. Different ways of survival are highlighted by various groups of characters in both films. Their survival is influenced by the people around them leading us to relationships; however the most pressing theme is power. I read a book called, “Animal Farm” written by George Orwell. The book is about animals on a farm who are overworked and aren 't treated well. Then, an insurgency made up of animals with pigs as their leaders, rebel against Mr.Jones (owner of the farm) by driving him off his farm. The animals try to make the perfect life for themselves, but that doesn’t go as planned. The animal farm then starts to fail.
Since the animals were like blindfolded, no one made the connection between Boxer's being taken away and the pigs suddenly having more money.
