Comparison Of Genesis 1: 2 And The End Of The First Earth Age

We have read: Genesis 1:2 And the earth was (became) without form and Void; The end of the first earth age; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. But here which didst weaken the nations! - In the NIV this part of the verse reads; “you who once laid low the nations!” - In the O.M. this part of the verse reads; “who weakens on the nations.” We will need help here to get the true meaning. The word weakens in the: Strong’s number: 2522 Phonetic: khaw-lash’ Text: a primitive root; to prostrate; by implication, to overthrow, decay: -discomfit, waste away, weaken. -We can with this information understand “who weakens the nations, Satan was the cause for the overthrow or wasted away, the destruction of the Nations or the 1st earth
