God created Lucifer with both unparalleled wisdom and beauty. Lucifer who is referred to as the star of the morning may have been the wisest and most beautiful of all God’s created beings (Isa. 14:12). Lucifer’s dress robe indicates the glory God bestowed upon him (Ezek. 28:13, KJV). Lucifer belonged to the highest order of angels who are divine attendants called Cherubim (Gen. 3:24). Cherubim primary purpose is to proclaim and protect the glorious presence of God, His sovereignty, and His holiness. Lucifer was the chief guardian of God’s holiness and majesty (Ezek. 28:14, 16). Even more, Lucifer had unparalleled perfection in the sense that he was completely sound and had total moral integrity (Ezek. 28:15). In addition, Satan had extraordinary high rank that led to his pride. Although Satan was an anointed Cherub, he led possibly one-third of all the angels to rebel in his fall (Ezek. 28:16). However, Satan was pronounced defeated in the Garden of Eden. At that time, God informed Satan that he would have minor victory by bruising Christ on His heel, but ultimately Jesus Christ would and did have major victory through His death on the cross by bruising Satan’s head. (Gen. 3:15, Luke 1:26-2:52). In the end, Satan wanted to be like the Most High God and for this reason; God thrust him down from heaven. After Lucifer became God’s chief adversary, he is no longer called by any honorable title, such as son of the dawn. Although God created Satan to perfection, God found sin in Satan. Therefore, universal sin must have been included in the eternal plan of
