God created Lucifer with both unparalleled wisdom and beauty. Lucifer who is referred to as the star of the morning may have been the wisest and most beautiful of all God’s created beings (Isa. 14:12). Lucifer’s dress robe indicates the glory God bestowed upon him (Ezek. 28:13, KJV). Lucifer belonged to the highest order of angels who are divine attendants called Cherubim (Gen. 3:24). Cherubim primary purpose is to proclaim and protect the glorious presence of God, His sovereignty, and His holiness. Lucifer was the chief guardian of God’s holiness and majesty (Ezek. 28:14, 16).
