When people think of heroes they think about Batman and Spider-Man, but what about the true heroes that get taken for granted? Louie Zamperini and The Trident Warrior Dogs exemplify the definition of a true hero. Not only do I admire Zamperini and the warrior dogs, I am inspired by them as well. If a prisoner refused to punch him, then the Japanese soldier would beat Zamperini’s fellow prisoner. Zamperini made sure everyone punched him, in order for his friend not to feel pain. He spent two years in the war camp and had many instances where he had to fight through the pain. Carlos, one of the Warrior dogs, had gotten severely injured during an explosion in combat. It is important to have patience and courage, which both Zamperini and The Trident Warrior Dogs prove to show these characteristics. Countless times Zamperini had to wait for the opportunity to race in the Olympics, get rescued from the sea, and to go home and see his family and friends. He even had to be patient in the little things, like eating his mothers food again. The Trident Warrior Dogs have the courage to go into the battle field and risk their lives to save their handlers. They are very dedicated in what they do, even if they are in lesion they will aways give in their best. All good heroes who have courage, show patience in their life. You need patience in order to fairly succeed in life. Louie Zamperini had to be proactive in the situations he faced. When he spent 47 days on a raft with two others, he took charge on conserving the food and water. When Zamperini was in his early teens, he found himself in trouble often. His brother thought him how to be proactive by using his talent to run. Zamperini used running as a way to clear his mind and straighten out his actions. A hero needs to be proactive in their life or they will not succeed. Zamperini took charge of his life and was bold. He never let go of his morals in the dilemmas of his
