A Tale of Two Cities is an interesting yet very bland book that tells of the status of two different cities, London and France. It takes place in the year 1775, before the French Revolution. The aforementioned status is easily depicted by the first line in the book. “It was the best of times. It was the worst of times.” This is said to tell about the life of London, the best of times, and France, the worst of times.
