In Orwell's Animal Farm, a jealous pig takes over and rules a tyranny. The rest of the animals are living in a nightmare, but they dare not speak against their leader or they risk their life. In Animal Farm, Comrade Napoleon is the most diabolical character of all. In Animal Farm, Boxer the horse is the most loyal, hardworking animal of them all. He does all he can to help on the farm and whenever there is a problem, he is always there to lend a helping hoof. He gives his all and never quits. In fact his personal maxim is " I will work harder!". While the other animals sleep, Boxer is up working extra hours, so he could get more tasks done. Boxer tried numerous times to get up, but he just could not. When the animals found out, some of them rushed to tell Squealer about the incident, while the rest stayed behind to comfort Boxer. When Squealer retured from delivering the news to Comrade Napoleon, he told the animals tha Napoleon was truly sorry and "was already making arrangements for Boxer to be treated at the hospital in Willingdon" (Orwell pg.105). The animals were relieved to hear that Boxer would be in good hands. Two days later, a van arrived to pick up Boxer and take him to the hospital.
