Sports are a very popular all around the world, and it is a billions dollars business, that fans gets a rush from watching it. There are many famous event all across the world that fans will pay top dollars to watch. It sometimes put pressure on the athletes to go out there and perform their best even if it puts there body at risk. The biggest problem sports don’t have a solution for are concussions. Year to year the numbers of concussions have to decreasing a lot because of the new technology that they are trying to create by the year but the numbers are still outrageous. Some people believe that the only way you can get a concussion is if you’re unconscious. Studies have shown that less than 10% of concussions that happen through all sports results of loss of consciousness. Some coaches and parents want the athletes to tough it out but not knowing that there are a lot of long term affect that you can suffer from in your adult life. Another, concussions are thought of only to happen from a direct hit to your head. That’s not true, a lot of concussions happen even when you take a blow to your body, and your head have a bad jerk. This happens a lot in soccer due to the facts that the athletes can’t use their hands in the sports, so body to body contact can cause a concussions. Lastly, it was said it takes 24-48 hours for an athletes to get cleared again to play. That is false advertisement and that is very dangerous to tell an athletes. Some concussions are more serious than other so it may take a lot more time for an athletes to heal. It have took some athletes an entire season of a sport to get cleared from the team doctor because of the long term affect, and how serious it
