Behavioral Psychology, also known as behaviorism, is psychology which studies observe behavior, understanding the role that conditioning is influencing a person’s thoughts and their actions. It is the connection with our minds and our behavior. A person’s behavior depends on how others treat them, too. There are many ways to improve all positive behavior. Children who receive positive reinforcement to their good work and behavior are often motivated to keep doing good.
You can offer positive reinforcement by giving a child extra privileges or rewards. For example, if your child cleans their room without being asked, take him to the playground or for some ice-cream as a reward. Then, they’ll be motivated to clean their room again. Use positive …show more content…

Whether intentional or not, destructive behaviors can lead to personal and social consequences. However, moving past these destructive behaviors is possible hope to change. Letting someone to engage to the normal consequences of their destructive actions can be one of the most caring gestures of all. If you're repeatedly preventing the normal and negative consequences from becoming bigger, you're not only not helping the person, but you're actually making it easier for that person to engage in their destructive behaviors. The moment you decide it's time to let go, you really don’t let go. It's part of the process. It looks like you are stepping away from negativity and stepping towards positive choices to take good care of yourself and get yourself committed to your own life. Doing this, you get yourself prepared so that when the person you care for is ready to accept help and change, you will be there ready to help them. Show compassion by letting them know that you understand the struggle they are struggling with. You need to find yourself first before you help others find themselves. Always be positive when helping others, especially people with destructive behaviors. They see your actions and that affects them. Make them feel like you really care about them and it make them feel better about others towards themselves. Communicate with them and ask them kind and caring questions like “How are you doing?” and “Are you happy today? Sad? Why?”. Don’t forget to find support for yourself first before you try to help others because that will also affect bad behavior people. Help when you feel capable of helping.
