Coney Island is just more than a famous amusement park area, it served as a huge impact on various aspects of people’s lives and society. As soon as summer starts in Brooklyn, Coney Island revives for another season of joy, laughter, its nature and amusements as thousands of people migrate to its amusement park, beach, and boardwalk. Coney Island is known for being the most famous American beachfront since 1829. It’s also a New York neighborhood that features more than 50 amusement park rides and attractions. Coney Island’s residency consists of European which dominated the land, Russian, Chinese, and Mexican which are the lowest. In the beginning of its time, Coney Island was mainly for upper-class people.

Pickering Putnam, built was considered to be the most elegant and fashionable hotel in the United States. Opened in 1877, it featured 258 lavished rooms, restaurants, ballrooms and shops. People had problems accessing Coney Island due to it being on a peninsula. It was decided to build a railroad that would make it more accessible for visitors to get to Coney Island. In 1823, the Coney Island Bridge Company construct its first bridge connecting from the mainland which is Brooklyn to the Peninsula. In the year of 1875, a man named Andrew Culver who was president of the Prospect Park and Coney Island Railroad (Culver Line) decided to integrate more rails from other towns to the city to make it easier to connect to Coney Island. In the 19th century, Coney Island became very popular for the citizens of Manhattan as they would call it the escape from the city. People would escape the growing urbanism from Manhattan. The way they need to restore Coney Island is to expand Coney Island’s amusement area and bring more activities so that the visitors have an unforgettable experience. Also to re-use its historic structures as a tourist attraction and map the destination so that way tourists from other states would know how to get there.
In conclusion, Coney Island really played an important role in people’s lives. It gave many laughter and joy to the people for so many years. The beach, and the amusement park, is what grabbed the people’s attention to go there every summer even during it’s off season. Even for the residents who lived there, there’s always events happening around the area. The undergoing evolution of what Coney Island went through from Dream Land to Luna Park to Astroland back to Luna Park really impacted people’s lives so
