We all can agree that being jumped, bulled and targeted is bad, but could you imagine that being your life? The novel, The Outsiders, by S. E. Hinton, is about 2 groups of people and those 2 groups are the Soc and Grasers. The soc are the high class people the people that they think you should be. They drive nice cars and there good with sports and they have clubs. The second group is greasers they are poor they have less stuff then the middle. They usually walk and enjoy the small things in life they like long greasy hair and looking cool. They dont really care about how they live they take everything slow and steady. The main idea, or theme, of the novel is too show what and how it feels to be targeted to be scared to be sad, but let me …show more content…

For example, in Chapter four, on page 53 S.E. Hinton wrote “‘any you about to freeze to death Pony’’’ This textual evidence shows that it is very cold because they are semi worried to freeze to death. But, i would be too could you imagine drying that way its kinda weird and messed up when you think about it. This is an example of a Man vs. Nature conflict because nature is any form of weather and coldness can be weather related so this i swhy i say this is about man vs nature. Another conflict in the novel, The Outsiders, happens when the church burns down. For example, in Chapter seven, on page 91 S.E.Hinton wrote “‘we must have dropped a lighted cirgrete or something’’’ This textual evidence shows that they could be the reason that this church is buring. BUt, alos anpther terible way to die but, anyways this tex evidence also shows how they are heroes becosue they accepts what they could have done and this means alot because this shows that they can be honest. ALso shows that they can be very ireaspoesabele and dumb at times beccouse its a stone floor so you must have put them against the wall of the church for anyhting to happen. This is an example of a Man vs. Nature conflict because its fire wicth can be made by the weather.
