“Romeo and Juliet” is a famous love tragedy written by William Shakespeare. In Verona, Italy, two star-crossed lovers seek happiness and love in a world of darkness. At thirteen years old, Juliet was destined to marry Paris. However, when she met Romeo, they both instantly fell in love. Their families despised each other, and had a feud between them for a long time.
In Romeo & Juliet, by William Shakespeare, the most consequential decision is the decision that is made by Benevolio who suggests to Romeo that he should come to the party and Romeo says “I’ll go along, no such sight to be shown,” (Shakespeare 1.2.98). Effects of this decision are Romeo meeting Juliet, Tybalt recognising Romeo, and Romeo’s decision is directly caused by his presence at the party is his decision to pursue Juliet. The first event that is directly caused by Romeo going to Capulet’s party is his meeting with Juliet. Romeo sees Juliet for the first time and is immediately struck by her beauty saying, “O, she doth teach the torches to burn bright!” (Shakespeare 1.5.44).
Romeo and Juliet Emotions tend to contradict the decisions people make, sometimes leading to bad consequences. Romeo and Juliet tells a forbidden love story of two star-crossed lovers. Romeo, a Montague, and Juliet, a Capulet, fall in love between the enmity of the two lovers feuding families. The consequences for a leader to make a rash decision may lead to war and death. For the everyday person to make rash decisions may lead to losing friends or your job. For kids, it may lead them to get suspended or expelled.

Why did Romeo and Juliet’s marriage went so wrong at the end? Maybe it's that they were not meant for each other. Maybe it's that they're family hated each other. Maybe it's because they both committed suicide. Whatever reason it was we can both agree they both weren't thinking when they were by each other and never thought about what would happen if they marry or the fact that they are total strangers.
The first reason that Romeo and Juliet are not in love due to the fact that they are too childish to fully understand what love is. During the famous balcony scene, Juliet says, “But to be frank, and give [my love to] thee again, And yet I wish but for the thing I have. My bounty is as boundless as the sea, My love as deep; the more I give to thee, The more I have, for both are infinite.” (2.2.31-35).
From the moment he sees her at the Capulet party, Romeo immediately falls in love with Juliet. They both fall head over heels for each other as the night progresses. During their time together, they completely put all things aside and forget everything about the world except for their love for one another. Most people seem to think this way about the romance between Romeo and Juliet, but in reality, they aren’t actually truly in love. Romeo and Juliet are not in love with each other because just a day before they met, he felt heartbroken because of a girl named Rosaline who didn 't love him, he pressures Juliet to profess her love to him, and after just barely meeting, they both agree to get married.
William Shakespeare is known for his tragic plays, which includes the highly talked about Romeo and Juliet.
