Isaiah Lee, Mrs. Romine and Mrs. Ross English 1 Hour 6 1 March 2024 9/11 Conspiracy Theories On September 11, 2001, four commercial airplanes were hijacked by Al-Qaeda and were driven into the Twin Towers. As a result, multiple lives were lost during the attack on the World Trade Center and people were left frightened during the aftermath of the attack wondering if their loved ones made it out alive. This is a conspiracy theory because people think that the government sent the commercial planes to crash into the towers to prove a point.I think the conspiracy theories about the government being involved in the 9/11 attacks are not true because if the government was involved they wouldn't have wanted to kill people. Another reason that would make them believe that the government wasn't involved in the 9/11 terrorist attack is when the attacks on the Twin Towers were over, they were very shocked and heartbroken when the lives of multiple people were lost. What makes sense about the argument that 9/11 was just a terrorist attack is how they acted after the attack and during the attack, and what they did to make the situation better. In the article it says “These footprints were the piles of rubble and dust left after terrorists flew two airliners into the buildings on September 11, 2001 (9/11)” (Berman 299). This quote from the article tells the readers the author's personal opinion on 9/11 and how it was just a terrorist attack and I agree with this statement because its saying how the reasons the towers fell was because of the planes that got hijacked and flew into the towers.This supports my belief that 9/11 was just a terrorist attack and the reason the attack happened was because eleven terrorists hijacked 2 planes and flew them into the world trade
