Federalism is the federal principle or system of government. The united states looks for the government and looks out for federalism. Federalism is a very big part to our congress and government. Some types of federalism is dual, cooperative, new, and regulated federalism. Federalism was created in 1776-1996. Dual federalism is a belief that there is a division between federal and state authorities exist. This idea means that the two levels of government, national and state, could possibly be treated equally and live equally without any obstacles. Dual federalism is sometimes viewed as the “layer cake federalism” because it is known to have a very obvious seperation between the federal and state. Dual federalism was created around 1776. It is the transition or change of powers, coming from the united states federal government, then later returning back to the states. Just like cooperative federalism, new federalism is helping to divide the federal and state governments without anything wrong happening or anything, or anyone getting in the way. New federalism was established around 1789. Regulated federalism, the last type of federalism, is different from any type of federalism. It means that congress imposes legislation, which means the legislative body of a country or of a state, on the states and local stores and shops, this means that they all have to meet national standards with the government. Without regulated federalism, many states would not be able to perform majorly in the united states of america. Regulated federalism was created around 1789, just like new federalism. All the types of federalism play a big part in this word. Without them, our congress and government would not be organized. They were all established around the same time period. States would be very confused and very undependable without federalism. We need federalism in our world.
