Angela Arviso Rodriguez is requesting an institutional verification of her linguistic background to apply for a time extension to Pearson. She graduated from Northern Arizona University with a Bachelor of Elementary Education back in 2006. Angela will be taking the NES Elementary Education Subtest I & II. Angela has been teaching the past ten years; first at Yuma High school and she is currently teaching at Immaculate Conception middle school grade 7th to 8th.
And so, this blog finally gets to the story of Esme Delapaz, known to many as the Summerhaven Witch. Esme Delapaz was born late in the year 1900. In spring of that year, her father, Enzo, bought the house at 129 Walsh. His was an exceptional story. A minority who had made something of himself, becoming a Veterinarian by the time he was twenty-five.
Nieves Sanchez became an ‘illegal alien’ at the age of seven. Encountering the normal language and culture barriers that every immigrant faces. She grew up hearing the stereotypes and stigma what an illegal ‘alien’/immigrant is and what they represent. Now she has no country to really call her own, because this country won’t recognized her and her home country most likely reject her. Mostly all her life she has lived has an illegal immigrant and the burden of being an illegal alien.
Anthony Elementary Principal Linda Perez has a “no excuse attitude for her students and staff.” As principal she applied and received the first National Blue Ribbon in the area of Southern New Mexico. This achievement sets Ms.Perez as a go-getter, as will see with her many other accomplishments. Born in 1968 and raised in southside-central El Paso, Texas, Ms.Perez grew up in an economically disadvantaged household. Her dad worked as a laborer earning less than minimum wage, and her mom was a stay-at-home mom.
The lethal actions taken by students nationwide, and even worldwide, contribute to a loss of students from suicide in the education system. In the case of Myers v. Blue Springs School District, a 12 year old boy had hung himself due to constant tormenting from fellow classmates because of his Cleft Palate. The bullying occurred from 2001 to 2007 and ended violently in February of 2007 with the 12 year hanging himself. Brandon Myers underwent various surgeries to improve his smiling, which still kept a speech impediment. Despite the hardships, Myers also continuously dealt with the his diagnosis with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, also known as ADHD, keeping in mind of Myers having to deal with his parents divorcing, which did not
In his campaign against the Aztec Empire, Cortez relied upon the other local indigenous tribes for assistance. Why did they ally themselves to Cortez and how did they help him secure ultimate victory? In Cortez’s venture to seize Mexico from the Aztec powers he was given he allied with other indigenous tribes, such as the Tlaxcalan's. It can be seen that perhaps the ally was more of mutual want for the destruction of the Aztecs as a mutual enemy rather then the want to benefit one another but the result shows us that this ally between the indigenous and the Spanish Hernan Cortez resulted in both the siege of Mexico and downfall of the Aztecs which may not have happened without this alignment.
Donovin Diaz resides in West New York, NJ and graduated from Memorial High School. He played football for four year. He struggled in reading and writing and did not take math during his senior year. He want to change his major to Counseling because he enjoys helping and interacting with people. His satisfaction is making people smile.

1. My significant contribution that I have made to Mount St. Ursula cannot be seen or touched, but, felt in the hearts of my wonderful teachers and classmates. My strong positivity has filled the environment of my school. I’ve often been told that I make optimistic impacts on many people’s lives. My amazing personality makes me a unique individual in my school amongst the cluster of young ladies.
Sometimes those flaws can be their downfall. For many, a major downfall is the inability to let go. In “Helen on Eighty-Sixth Street,” the character's flaw was her inability to let go of her hatred for Helen. In “The Cask of Amontillado,” the character’s flaw was his inability to let go of an insult. In “The Scarlet Ibis,” the character’s flaw was his inability to let go of the idea of a normal brother.”
Carla is a 7-year-old second grader who displays major tantrums and destructive behavior in the home and school setting. Her parents were recently separated and Carla’s behavior has gotten out of control. Carla’s teacher has verbally expressed concern for her at a recent meeting.
As an animal lover, the Corrida is a gruesome, awful sport. Any sport that involves killing an animal without the purpose of hunting for food is not okay with me. One can only hope that they do use the bulls for meat afterward. Why do men have to show that they can dominate an animal. I do not believe that animals were put on this earth for the purpose of “domination”.

Cultural competence in social work is the primary guideline of social work education and practice. According to Carpenter (2016) As the population in the United States continues to diversify rapidly, the requirement for culturally competent social work administrations is similarly as essential as it ever has been.
This is what makes me a very observant person. Everybody has weaknesses, but it is up to us whether we want to keep those weaknesses or overcome it. I mentioned that my weaknesses is overthinking, perfectionist and arrogant. Actually my weaknesses are interconnected with one another.
Strengths: As a student one of my strengths is organization. I can say I can keep my school materials and notebooks organized in a way that I and others can comprehend. The reason I can say I am organized is because, I have hardly ever had in the past or present any issues with trying to find homework or assignments because I always kept my materials for each class organized and in a place I could easily find. Another strength I have is social skills. I can believe that I communicate with others well in a group.
