Juliet's parents forced her to marry Paris, which led her to take the risky decision of faking her own death. The parents don't have any support for juliet. If they would just have not let her marry Paris then many things would have been changed. The parents are so stubborn and full of hatred. Romeo and Juliet likely would have been a good match for each other.
The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet Friar is a liar… A Meddler…and irrational! That began the awful tragedy of Romeo and Juliet. We can say that Friar seems like an intelligent and reasonable man, however, have his actions prove otherwise! Friar is guilty because he married Romeo and Juliet in secret, thinking it would resolve the dispute between the two feuding families.
If they had never met then their tragic deaths would have never occurred. Mercutio insists that since Rosaline doesn’t love Romeo the way that he loves her, he should try to find a different girl. Mercutio convinces Romeo to go to the ball and Romeo meets Juliet and they both fall madly in love with each other. And don’t want to leave each other's sight. They have to be secretive
If they would have never made the two get married, Friar Lawrence would never give Juliet the dangerous potion, therefore the two lovers’ would still be alive and happy. Another act of hastiness is the fight between Tybalt and Mercutio. If Mercutio would have let things go, two lives would have been saved. Along with that, Romeo would have not killed Tybalt so would have never been banished from the city.
Romeo was reckless and did not love Juliet enough to save her. Lady Capulet had never truly been a mother to Juliet, their relationship was formal and respected, not kind and gentle. Lady Capulet thought she knew what was best for Juliet, she did not however care if Juliet was happy. She insisted Juliet to marry Paris “The valiant Paris seeks you for his love”(DBQ: Project, 2013), a man Juliet did not love.
Even if he would have not kept his and Juliet's relationship a secret the outcome would have been better. His own personal desire worked heavily against him. Romeo had decided to pursue his own personal desire and ask the Friar to marry him and Juliet. This was a few days after they had met and he was sure they were meant to be together. The Friar realized how foolish it was, but the only reason he married them was because he thought there was a possibility of this helping to end the feud between their families.
Juliet’s measures taken during her rebellion prove that if she would have grown up in a more loving environment, it would have been harder to give up her entire family just for a boy. Juliet’s desire to be surrounded by someone who loves makes her act like another person due to the harm it left on
Prior to meeting Juliet, Romeo had merely been depressed and was lovesick for Rosaline; in being with Rosaline Romeo felt that her love could lead him to blissful joy but his feelings of endearment for Rosaline emphasized his feelings of loneliness. “ I’ll pay that doctrine or else die in debt,”- Benvolio. Refers to Benvolio’s assistance in curing Romeo from his love sickness; had it not been for Benvolio’s persistence, Romeo might have continued to be on a downwards spiral into depression and would have been weighed down by his emotions. “O, teach me how I should forget to think,”-Romeo. Had it not been for Romeo’s friends he would have given up and eventually gotten further away from finding his good fortune in the upcoming future.
If Romeo was truly in love with Rosaline like he said he was, he wouldn’t have fallen out of love with her and in love with Juliet in a matter of minutes. Going to the Friar Lawrence's cell, Romeo informs him about Juliet
Also Romeo and Juliet would not have had to come up with a plan to see each other if their families did not hate each other and their plan ends with both of them killing themselves just so they can be together. Finally throughout the story it all just kept pointing back to one major theme hate, if the families did not hate each other they would all still be alive and living happily ever after but because the two families hated each other everybody is dead and they have to live with the fact that their grudge against each other got their family
Therefore, if Romeo and Juliet didn’t rush things too quickly Paris wouldn’t have died. Romeo would've never been banished, and Friar Laurence wouldn’t have to come with a plan for Romeo and Juliet to get back together backfire. Even though Mercutio, Tybalt, Paris were somewhat minor characters there deaths, including Romeo and Juliet's were totally preventable. Despite the plan didn’t go as planned causing the deaths of several people, none if that would've happened, if Romeo and Juliet didn’t rush to quickly in their
In the Elizabethan tragedy “Romeo and Juliet” written by William Shakespeare, the characters that are known to be adored, can even be the cause of adversities throughout the beautiful play. Many characters could be accountable for the death of Romeo and Juliet. It might be the Nurse, who had very poor judgement, stringing Juliet along in a relationship that wouldn’t last. Would it be Tybalt, the violent cousin, who resented Romeo? Unexpectedly, the person who is to blame for the death of Romeo and Juliet is the carefree Romeo.
But juliet displays her displeasure with marrying Paris in the story. Juliet says,
